Toni's Courtyard Cafe (516 W. 18th, downtown) - voted "Best" in Merced County - go there for Saturday morning breakfast in the secluded patio.

Mel's Cafe (G and Yosemite Ave, next to Raley's) - for Chinese food, a massive variety of bubble teas, and ice cream

Jantz Bakery (On Bellevue in Atwater) - the hearty, fresh breakfast and homemade pies are worth the 10-15 minute drive! Closed Sundays.

Hilmar Cheese - The food is good, and the cheese is made on the premises. Pleasant, informal atmosphere. -
Sam Cafe (12th and Martin Luther King Jr) - This is a Thai favorite of the UC Merced crowd.

El Asadero (G and Yosemite) - for cheap Mexican food; get the shredded beef tacos, or a Nacho Supreme if you're really hungry!

Strings Italian Cafe (731 East Yosemite Ave) - Great Italian restaurant; perfect for dates! (This is the only chain restaurant on the list.)

Making new pages!
To create a new page, simply search for the name of the page you wish to create and then click the "Create a new page with this title" link. Another way to create a new page is by making a link to the page you wish to create from a page that already exists, following the link, and clicking "Create this page."
